Mario Kart DS

Mario Kart DS

Postby Bluetrane » Nov 17, 2005 @ 5:11am

i'm sure others here have it

Single player is unreal : it is so smooth and the controls are so good

WiFi : took awhile to gather four racers but boy was it worth it. the game works perfect using wifi : no lag at all at least that i saw. The DS was by far the easiest device ( not that any were too tough ) to work w/ my WEP encrypted wireless lan.

this could be the best mario kart yet ( better then snes )

I'm gonna try battle mode now

No, I've never seen that, I've never seen anyone drive their garbage out to the curb and bang the hell out of it with a stick. No, I've never seen that.

I just purchased that game as well, and it's pretty damn good. It brings all the best elements from the 64, SNES, and Double Dash versions and combines them into an experience that looks, performs (Almost always 60fps), and plays wonderfully. And since it adds online multiplayer, it's almost heresy to not pick this game up if you own a DS. My only complaint is that I think they made the matchmaking to simplistic for online play, but it works, and just knowing that you're playing another real person somewhere out there gets your heart raing when things occur.

Highly reccomended. 9.3/10

The adaptor? Do you have a DS? And a router?
Were not talking about Double Dash.

Ugh, I fecking hated the snes version. Every time I tried to get to 1st, the lead would somehow pull a super-star out of his ass.

And that rainbow road finale...gawd...no guidewalls, and thwomps. 8O
