What's wrong with intellectual fap-fap? I find it to be very productive. It encourages the mind to think in previously unconsidered ways, it fosters intellectual development, it requires rigorous formulation of watertight arguments, and it relieves stress.

I also happen to be majoring in philosophy ;)
