Looking for very small speakers

Looking for very small speakers

Postby Miracle » May 29, 2006 @ 3:34pm

Kinda weird question, I know, but I'm looking for 2 or 4 small speakers. And by small I mean about 4" (10cm). Doesn't have to be exactly that, though. The sound quality should be pretty good, especially at low volumes. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

Packard Bell, of all people, used to make a fantastic set of cheap "orb" speakers of about 3 inches diameter. They had a sub to go with them, dunno if that's a bad thing for you.

Hmm, I'll look into those then, thanks! Subwoofer isn't really a bad thing, although I prefer to not have one. Thanks!

I was astonished by the Packard Bell ones. They were attached to a cheapo PC in PC World, and the sound coming out of them would have shamed many an expensive system.

Dunno if you can still get them, this was at least 4 years ago.

I just checked the website, but there's not even a category for them, so no way of getting them separately I guess.
