We have other missle defense systems. Anything NK sends at us can be shot down no problem by our current systems.

They can only hit Alaska anyway - and would you even know if that was the case? Don't think you have anything to worry about though; by the look of things they can barely get them off the ground.

I think North Korea is the equivalent of the smelly kid at school who had a war fixation but never amounted to much.

TBH theres not much anyone can do is there.

Militarily, no-one will do anything when Seoul can be obliterated pretty instantaneously, if only even because there are heaps of GIs stationed there. NK don't even need missiles, its within the range for artillery.

Diplomatically, whats the point of putting sanctions on a country that pretty much doesn't buy or sell anything anyway, and that couldn't care less that a few million of its people are starving.

whats left? pre-emptive nuclear strike?

Assassins.

This conflict has actually made me come up with a new idea for a military special forces: whores. What we could do is send over, as a diplomatic offering of peace, Special Forces Whores (a branch of the Army because of their infantry style) to infect the North Korean government with HIV. They will then soon die and we don't have to worry about it any longer. Of course, if these whores themselves had HIV they'd die, too, so I guess they would be Special Forces Kamikazee Whores from Japan. Maybe that's what the joint missile defense shield is that we're working on right now. Whores. But our casualty rate would be low, only the whores that were going to die from HIV anyway. And they'd be doing a service for humanity, we could give their families good health insurance or something afterward to say thank you, and build a giant obilesk lingam in DC in their honor... or just rename the Washington Monument.

Your shallowness has reached new depths, if ever such a thing could be said. ;)

I didn't catch the part about shooting down anything that came over our territory. From what I heard on the radio, it sounded simply like if North Korea launched its missile we'd attack it no matter what.

Our missile defense system is actually working for the most part now. They've done several tests in the past two years that just haven't made much news.

Friggin' USA and it's lust for power... Doesn't the USA have nuclear bombs too? Stop pointing fingers then, and let those korean guys play too.

I personally don't buy into the nukes for peace plan of world politics. Especially when the nukes are in nation's that don't mind selling them to whoever'll pay.

Toss out all nukes, then we'll talk. You can't force somebody else to get rid of all their nukes if you're the one holding even more...

Well we did toss out alot of them. I don't believe that us throwing away all of ours will stop Iran or Korea from building one. In fact it would just give them an edge. If you want these nations to have an edge on the US militarily then just admit it so we can move on in the conversation.

In all fairness, if you want to guarantee that your country will never be invaded by the US, you need an insane dictator and nuclear weapons.
