of course! they set off some small explosive charge to scare all the birds away, and it was a case of quick-draw with the camera to get a shot before they all flew away.

My wife and I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AY ... 64?ie=UTF8 which is fantastic. It takes really good videos too, with audio.

I've mentioned mine before, and I still think it's a great camera. I just checked eBay and the price really dropped a lot recently. Check out the Panasonic Lumix FX9 if you're interested. eBay lists it for $260 with a 'free' 1GB card with it. It takes great shots, too.

I like this shot, taken with the FX9. And it's friggin compact too.

I'm currently thinking about getting a Canon EOS 350D (Or Rebel XT if you're from america), but that's a bit less compact .

Weirdly enough, the place where I got it from (YesAsia) no longer lists it (or I didn't look good enough). Is it already discontinued or something? I don't think there's a new one out there already...
