Yeah, i've played it, it's starcraft 0.001 style, tiled maps and pretty ugly units and buildings. For what i can see the AI is pretty stupid, the demo has 2 levels, you can't gather resources (you get money automatically with time), and it bored me a little bit, perhaps because i just wanted that game to be crap and convinced myself that it is acutally that, but i guess you guys should take a look.
The music is kind of good though, and their pathfinding is pretty good too, but pathfinding on tiled game has always been simple so no special credit for that.

I'm sort of sad and angry about this game being released, i really did not see it coming.
You guys ought to consider not publically criticizing your competition.. it's in poor taste

Critiscm is what spurs competition, and in the end better products for the consumer. Who knows you may do the same about argentum, but then you have the right to do so, as we do with the grey day. In the end we are making games, which some people may or may not like.

Congrats for getting the game out first, but we cant help feeling it was very rushed.

John.
You shouldnt even think like that....This should make you more encouraged to make argentum far far better, implement better things than they have etc.

Which I am sure you have / will anyway.

Johnny

Yes, and if you can withstand Paul's abuse, then nothing can stand in your way. Hmmm, when was my last update to Helios though. still working

It would help if there was a Mips and SH3 binary. Then maybe Invasion would get even more "consumer" reviews. I am basing all my opinions on screenshots- which aren't too impressive and almost up there with Poccer.

The only only thing that could save that game is the gameplay or replay value.

Anyway, if ANY developer wants a truthful opinion about their product, they should come by the PocketMatrix Forums. We don't pull any punches.
