We've added more RAM to the server and updated MySQL with query caching.

Please let me know if you notice a difference.

So far, that random lag while loading pages is gone, however it could be I haven't encountered it yet.

Huh? Chris, you forgot to mention the upgrade to IIS 6 - and I can't believe you misspelt SQL Server again.

Yes, I've noticed a dramatic speed increase here at school. Many times, I had to wait minutes for a page to appear. That lag is gone.

Seems speedier. Only problem I have had is that every now and then when I click refresh and no new threads are around a random old thread will show up as new.

I've had this since the beginning. If you use tabs, open each forum in a new tab, and each threa din another new tab. Makes it easier to read through the forums IMO.
