Speed / Quality Config Optimizations

alright here is another newbish question for u guyz... where do I modifiy this stuff, I know it is in the autoexe.cfg file but I didn't see n e of the settings u guyz modifyed so do i just add those commands in the file oh yeah and without modify and like 4 megabytes of program memory left im runnin at 8.7-8.8 :oops:

Yes, you just open the autoexec.cfg file and add in whatever setting you want to add.

ok im just going to give my results using Mali's and Sonne's settings on my dell axim 400 mhz
with Mali's I recieved up to 10.9 fps the lowest was 8.8 with Sonne's the highest was 9.7 and the lowest was 8.8 But then this is with the gun being displayed I just like lookin at the weapon i am using :lol:

I want to play around with the autoexec.cfg file myself. Is there a list of commands somewhere? I've checked my old Quake manual...nothing there. Any ideas?

These are my PQ results on MyPal A620.

Portrait w/o Opti or OC avg. 20.5 FPS
Landscape ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 15.1 FPS

Portrait w/o Opti,OC 472 24.5 FPS
Landscape ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 17.9 FPS

Portrait w/ Opti, no OC avg. 23.0 FPS
Landscape ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 16.7 FPS

Portrait w/ Opti, OC 472 27.6 FPS
Landscape ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 20.0 FPS

I would try and overclock it to 530 MHZ... But I don't feel like it. I would imagine that i can probably hit 30 FPS in Portrait... and maybe around 23 FPS in Landscape. Maybe someone else can confirm this. Quake is quite playable, and I am quite satisfied.

I cant get autoexec.cfg to execute on bootup.Having to type in the commands is getting tedious.On bootup it sais "couldnt exec autoexec.cfg".Anyone know a fix for this?As far back as i can remember ive seen this happen in quake,even on my desktop.Very frustrating.
