My only complaint, and it unfortunately goes for far too many web sites out there these days: you hard-code the fonts way too small.

If your looking at this site on a 1600x1200 monitor as I do, which is not at all unusual these days, even jacking the font up to maiximum size isn't big enough. My only choice is to disable CSS for thie site, otherwise I'll go much blinder than I already am.

Text scaling works perfectly fine in Mozilla 1.5. Any one know which font size attribute it is that lets it scale in IE?

We're using 11px for the text in the messages right now. I guess I could always make the text size a profile thing where each user can choose.

I figured out exactly what was bothering mea bout it, the background of the posts is the same as the background around them and it all just blends together with no border. Its driving me crazy, the posts just blend together.

Bender: Look at our user IDs, we joined around the same time, so thus it's logical to think the date would be near.

Well, aside from the deplorable absence of any further new shades of blue, I have to say that the old place is looking pretty good...

Say, er, do you have any idea when version tw- oh, oops, sorry. It's OK, you can put the gun down now. I'm leaving...

Good updates. There is something missing however, I can't put my finger on it, strange...
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

I agree, I'm using 15" lcd monitor with 1024 mode and I find the text hard to read. Even if I'm wearing 8) eyglasses which I usually dont.

Nice updates though. Cheers :D

I faced a similar issue in a project at work some time ago, and someone put me on to the solution (which I didn't wind up implementing for other reasons). Anyway, I think this might help:

http://diveintoaccessibility.org/day_26_using_relative_font_sizes.html

I remember a lot about the funky-looking comments this mentions, I think that's the key to getting dynamic font sizes to work properly in IE.

I'm actually a little bothered at the amount of blank space between the end of the text of a post and the poster's sig. It makes the posts unnecessarily long.

It's because of the user info to the left of the post.

As far as I know, it'll be this summer, along with the new karma system and everything.

Chris: I've been having a problem with Firebird. Specifically (what I assume to be) the Javascript onclick that allows you to click on anywhere within the coloured part when you rollover a thread. Ctrl + click in firebird (opens in new tab) opens in the new tab and opens it in the current view. Is it possible that this could be disabled? I don't think anyone is stupid enough to not realize you click the underlined text.
