I saw somewhere that one of the Ipaqs gets 2FPS if it isn't overclocked. I thought, Hell I can DRAW at 2 FPS.

This forum contains an extensive collection of benchmarks from basically every Pocket PC ever made. All benchmarks are with a stock devices (not overclocked), although there are some additional benchmarks made on overclocked devices (as indicated).

No iPaq has ever gotten a score that low, and as usual I'm sure you can't produce any hard information on where you saw that.

I know how you feel. It went over my head too.
Anyway, back on topic is there a program to monitor CPU/RAM usage?

Yeah, its called "shut the fuck up."
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

Caesar, what's your deal? Cool it.

There are tons of Today screen plug-ins that do that. I don't have any specific ones in mind, though. I think WISBar does that, too. XCPUScalar

Thanks. I'm playing around with the WindowsMobile2K3 SDK and I'm trying to figure out why it won't let me run Quake, keeps saying there's not enough memory.

Okay maybe should I try running Quake BEFORE I do the registry tweaks?

Toshiba e805 Pocket PC

Postby Mammoth » Jul 18, 2004 @ 7:57am

I just bought an HP h2215 Pocket PC 5 days ago when I saw, in another store, the Toshiba e805.

I've read in some places that this has the new ATI Imageon 2300 (or 2320) graphics chip with 2MB VRAM. Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Also, can anyone say if this PPC with the ATI chip would be enough horse power to, say, clean up Pocket Quake 2's performance (get it to at least 20 FPS in portrait with NO optimizations)?

Thanks guys,
J
