The logo contest I *hope* you use some sort of graphic design tool.

Maybe you should make this a competition to use PocketArtist (by Conduits) to design the logo... that would be getting into the spirit of things!

But meh... I'll probably just use Illustrator or something

Uh guys ... read those posts again. And then cry, because a foreigner understands it and you don't. They just said that you have to put the banner somewhere (a real place) for the photo, and not just photoshop it on the Empire State Building or something. For the logo, you can obviously use Photoshop (it says in the rules that you have to send the PSD in if you win). Duh.

In any case, I was wondering about the mascot thingie. If I send in a JPG with a logo and a mascot, and maybe a combination of them (technically speaking: kind of a corporate design playing with the character), would that be okay?

Haha, apparently you ALL misunderstood my question. I was wondering IF we could post the "banners" on a website, I know the rules say it has to be a real place. Anyways, that's settled. And all I did was comment on the fact that I am good at Photoshop, not that I'm going to use Photoshop to make a picture appear on a building (which is illegal, I knew that).

For the mascot.... you can do what you want. I figured for that one, most people who take a pocket pc and put arms and legs on it and send it in... if everyone does that, it probably wouldn't win....... but let me tell you this. If someone makes a pocket costume.... and can actually get in it... I can't say if it would win or not, but that would be what I call creative. As the rules state... there aren't many rules.... and it is pretty open. If you have a good reason to stray from the guidelines, then its going to be cool with us. A physical mascot costume would in the very least be halarious.

By the way, the logo contest says you don't have to use our names in the logo.... keep that in mind when you type proportable in photoshop and change the font and send it in as an entry.

still do not state that you can hand it two logos if you wish (one for PM and one for PP).

I want to hand in my two contributions now... Can I without fearing to be disqualified?

Listen to this..

First i did 3 logos and send them in. Later i realized i was only allowed to send one logo in. So i wrote another mail with one logo included..

Fine...untill i realized i had done a PocketGamer.org logo

So i did a pocketmatrix logo and send it in...

They will have 4 e-mails or something from me in the contest inbox...I feel like a dumbass..

Edit: And know i remember i'm only 15 years old,, not 18.. But i asked my dad about this...Is it okey if i have parents permission? But i'm doing the logo?

I've finished my PP Logo and sent it.
I just want to say that the concept of this design is so "open".
So I use ur old color but redesign in the way that i think it's OK to use for ur site.

And I want to say that I'm also same as someone in this topic.
I'm 15. But my parents has allowed me to pay duties ( I'm in Thailand)

I want to say that would you please edit ur rules, so that people under 18 can do this "If their parents allowed".
cause their have more creative than old person.

Just a boy's suggestion, It's yourself who will change this.
