blur is from moving the camera/shaking and slow-shutter speeds make it worse.

Ok, what moving/shaking the camera does when it doesn't have any of the features to cope with it makes it so the camera can't focus. What focus does is it affects what looks blurry and what looks sharp. So when you see something out of focus in a picture it looks blurry and when you look at something in focus it looks as sharp as the camera allows. Therefore, when the whole general image looks blurry it has to do with the focus, or lack thereof, of the camera.

Loox720:
Not as nice, square buton layout.(button delay resolved).
Wider viewing angle.
Side scroll button a plus.
Not as good camera as Asus730(uncomfirmed reports, but mine works better than Loox review shots)
Taller.
Bigger main battery.
No second battery included(extra).

Oops, sorry mistake on CIR-capable performance & USB, both have so I edited out.

Asus 730w does have best VGA benchmarks for (emulator)gaming:
Latest review states 1090 Grafics index & 162 Gapi bencharks before any GAPI tweaks!..WooHoo!

Both Asus & Loox are great units... comes down to personal preference...I really like my Asus730w now, even though I also like the Loox720, I personally feel Loox screen is warmer & I like the clean Asus screen better.

The 730, although Asus will not confirm CIR, myself and half a dozen users on this forum are getting 18-20' + range on the IR using remote control software.....that is not regular range for 3' max IR

I'm not too familiar with consumer IR, other than using it on a million things through my life.... but I know the that all other Asus pocket pcs had 3-6' range on the IR at best and the IR port was always on the side. The 730 has the IR at the top and you can get 18-20' easy on it.... Do the math... some guy wanted to argue with me over this on brighthand. People want CIR for controlling tvs and the like.. so if you can do that and have a 20' range, does it need to be called CIR?

I don't know, someone tell me. Does CIR not cause cancer and IR does? Is there anything that is life changing?

I agree... who really cares what it is or isn't. The facts are the facts and that's that!

No USB cable included(extra).

Actually, it is part of the basic package - in-built to the main synch cable. Of course, you can buy, or even better, manufacture your own USB host cable (see FirstLoox for instructions), but it's generally not needed - it works out-of-the-box.

I just ordered an X50v. It cost me $375, where as the A730w would have been $600. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
