Curse Of Monkey Island Keys

Curse Of Monkey Island Keys

Postby Ictcmn » May 12, 2005 @ 12:20pm

I am having some trouble with The Curse Of Monkey Island on my axim x50v.
I have managed to get the game working fine, the animations and everything are smooth, that's not the problem. The really frustrating thing is, that to play Monkey Island you need to press a key such as 'e' while the cursor is over an object to do anything like use it etc.
But the virtual keyboard on Pocket Scumm does not allow this, because when you tap on a letter, it moves the cursor, so you cannot press 'e' while the cursor is over an object.
I realise I have said this clumsily but I need help!
If there is no easy way of solving this, would buying a pocket pc keyboard help? Is Pocket Scumm compatible (if it needs to be) and could I then press a key while the cursor is pointed at an object?
I am hoping I am just missing something blatantly obvious so please point it out! If not please try making a suggestion anyway.
Thanks for your help,
Chris

I have just noticed the 'verb coin' or whatever it is called.
Well don't I feel sheepish  !
Absolutely fantastic news though, curse of monkey island in the palm of my hand, and unlike broken sword 2, even the animations work smoothly!
I'm off for some swashbuckling!
