A few weeks ago, Rice said that any test missile fired by the North Koreans would be considered and hostile act and we would shoot the missile down. Isn't shooting down other peoples' shit hostile?

I also don't see how shooting down a missle that's within our range is considered hostile at all. Pure ignorance if you really think that.

Yeah, when we said we'd shoot it down we meant if it got in our range.

There does seem to be war or rumours of war on every hemisphere now. We've got Afghan, North Korea, Israel, USA. Sounds like we should all just move to Peru where we can be shot by guerillas, the government, or rioters. Where's CARPEDIEM when we need him? I wonder if he's been shot or not, yet.

"We" or yourself never said such thing. Learn to read your own language. Missile tests by their very nature aren't sending missiles flying over the US. In fact, you better shut down any missile aimed toward North America otherwise we won't be able to go south for cheap summer vacation.

O rly? Seems to me thats the point everyones making. North Korea shot their missile "test" towards Japan not China or Russia. Truth be told its good that the missile didn't go far enough for us to have to test out our defense system. I doubt its ready.
