This error sounds odd, because there should be no main() entry in Symbian. Are you sure you're targetting a Symbian application? What happens if you create a default helloworld application for Symbian (without EDGELIB)?
1. Created Open C Console Application(plugin installed) for Symbian OS
2. Added Libraries, include files, macro and ran it.
3. Now the above error of "_main" comes out.
If I include void main() in the source file then all things are ok. But the poject doesn't run.
It seems something went wrong in your Carbide or Symbian SDK installation. I'm affraid we can't help you further if even a simple helloworld application doesn't work. Perhaps reinstallation might help.
