Maybe you can make some kind of extended buttons for those, that kinda stick out a bit below your ppc :).

The start/select buttons will definatly have to be relocated, as they sit directly under the ppc at this point. That will not be hard to do. I'm also experimenting with ppc mounting options right now. I will document my next effort and create a Howto. Good news is all that is required are parts: 2-$6.00 non-analog Playstation controllers and 2-PC drive bay faceplates. tools: superglue, a box cutter, dremel tool,1/32 dremel drill bit, a soldering iron, solder, and desoldering braid.

I will create another topic when the next revision is ready.
Perhaps I've been wrong to blindly folow the medical superstitions of past centuries. Maybe we barbers should test these assumptions analytically, using a "scientific method". Maybe this could lead the way to a new age, a Renaissance! Naaaaahhh!

Will the drivers provided with the adapter support USB controllers?

Or the other way round:
There are PPCs that have default USB support but lack of drivers to make USB devices work (only keyboards and memory drives are supported by PPCOS2003).
So I was wondering if the drivers of the adapter can also handle USB cotrollers by default...

Another question:

How will the adapter work? There are so many PPCs with different connectors... Which PPCs will be supported?

Well...IR is an advantage for most devices, not sure it will be useable on the new hx4700/4705 units (which badly need a gamepad, cause they don't even have a true D-pad, but a new touchpad system), since the IR receiver is on the bottom.

The IR of the adapter is positionable whereever it's needed. At least, that seemed to be the plan.

The driver models are completely different between IR and USB, the driver will not work for USB devices.

Dan, any update on when we can start sending you money in exchange for this adapter?

I'm intressed to know myself when the controller will be finished.

Lol he's lucky that he has his reputation with him, cause if anybody other then him said all the things he said we would consider it 'vaporware' or something similar...

Still lining up some things related to manufacturing. It won't be ready by the end of this year.

The product works - the beta testers can attest to that. :)

:D I can imagine what it would look like based on your description, how would it mount to the PPC? Suction cups? Velcro?

Only the small IR LED needs to be attached to the device. That's what is holding things up.
