Here we go again. Another version in the hoven.
What to expect in 0.5:
- Brand new file manager, to import, export files to and from your PPC.
- Source code formatter in the PIDE.
- Lots of fixes and new features to PPL.
- More to come...

Sorry, if this has been explained somewhere, but after spending considerable time on finding the information myself, I finally put it as a question on this forum:
What type of license will PPL be released with?
- Commercial (meaning we will have to cough up money for PPL)?
- Shareware?
- Freeware?
- GPL?
- ?
That's important for me before I start to invest time in developing for/in PPL.
Thanks, Reno

PPL will be commercial and the license will be: Once you bought it, you do whatever you want with it. No license fees at all. It will be very cheap (around 50$ US, possibly less) and will come with a PC version as well.
There will be a complete version of PPL free without the PPC compiler included but everything else will be included.

Quote: PPL will be commercial
Quote: around 50$ US, possibly less Thanks for that information. As an occasional developer, this is the point where I turn to
free
(as in beer)
alternatives
...
But I wish you all the best for your project!
