Griff updates Griff Pocket Music Studio

Griff has upadted their software to version 1.0.3.9. For those of you with a fancy for sequencing on your PocketPC, this is the software to get. You can get it from PlanetGriff. There is an 'urban demo' version available.

Thanks for pointing it out. I think it's an wicked bit of software and good for writing music on the go, but the restriction on sample length was beginning to tick me up. Good thing it's been updated, especially as its the only real music composition app for PPC!

Would seriously like a MOD editor though, that would be really useful!

There's a FAQ on the site for plug-ins, which is really nice.

Plus, I know there have been a ton of people asking about sequencing of the past year.

Update

Postby planetgriff » May 20, 2002 @ 4:41pm

Griff has been updated to include a sampler interface that allows you to record remotely and playback with the Pocket PC, as well as keyboard mapping of any WAV samples - sample length has been greatly increased too.

So, if you hook this up to a MIDI port, you can trigger sounds using a normal MIDI keyboard, or are we not there yet? ;)

And we are two students who have been developing a MIDI-to-GrifXML converter. You can try the web based solution at: http://www.nemcom.nu/parser

Enjoy!
