I have a hauppauge tv card and I would like to be able to watch some tv shows which I have recorded earlier on my ipaq, but it seems to insist on encoding in mpeg2.
However as the files created are way too big to fit on my 128MB cf card and because I don't think there is an mpeg2 player for pocket pc I was thinking of re-encoding to divx. What I would like to know is would this make the video really bad and if so does anyone who knows stuff about these tv cards know how you can record in your desired codec i.e. divx and not mpeg2,
