I'm not wrong. I admit it's a stupid law, but it's a law. Just like I'm not about to walking down the left hand side of the street with my pet aligator in California, I'm not about to download movies off the internet even if I have them because it's against the law.
If one of y'all want to be the martyr and go to court because you downloaded a DivX version of Evangelion while you have the VHSes at home then be my guest, but you've been told what the law is and it's up to you to break it or not.
If you think you're so right about this law then why don't you cite stuff. Atleast zahn did, but his citation was irrelavent. You can MAKE backup copies of anything you buy, but you can't download them. Downloading is not making. To make a backup copy you have to use your original copy to begin with. That's the point of the law. To restrict WHICH copy it is originally made from!
