Dell DPad Patch

Dell has released a patch that allows the DPad to be pushed in for the "action" button, just like the HP/Compaq iPaq PocketPC's DPad.

I know that this has been an issue with many users, especially on the PocketQuake forum. It looks like Dell listens, and is quite quick to the draw.
May this be a sign of things to come.

Cool... not sure if I'll want it, though. I'm used to pushing in the D-pad when moving in a direction. Oh well, I'll try it. Here's hoping it's reversible...

[edit] Never mind, it is. I deleted it since pressing "up" activates the action button a bit too often. I have no need for it either.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

Hmm... that could be true. However, to the best of my knowledge, when the D-Pad is pressed down without the patch, no directions are registered.

How could they be registered, if you are going up and down, left and right at the same time?

Tried it and deleted it within 5 min.

Simply am too used to liberally holding it the dpad while I roll it in different directions.
