Just rip the whole DVD, then use VirtualDub (for Divx) or TMPEGEnc (for Mpeg-1) and select the source range of the first episode. Then re-encode it. Then go back to one of those programs and select the source range for the second episode and re-encode it again. Do the same for the third episode, untill you have your original file and 3 files with episodes 1,2, and 3.
