Or I could just turn the computer off when the power goes out so the UPS doesn't drain down :roll: If the power is out I have no use in using a computer. My laptop, after all, lasts in Standby mode with it's batteries for days on end. There are powersupplies available now that offer such batteries built in to stabilize the power feed and to ensure against power outages without these clunky UPS thigns.
