IRDA Problems

I'm trying to transfer an MP3 from my Casio EM500 PPC to my friend's Toshiba e335 PPC, but the connection is going amazingly slow and the transfer never seems to complete successfully. I read the specs on my PPC and it says that the irda port transfers at 115 kbs. Is this different for the Toshiba or something? Why won't the files transfer fast. It took me 10 seconds just to transfer a 15 kb file.

The IRDA ports on Casio units has an inherent malfunction. You've just discovered it.
