It's most likely because your source files [the files with txt, your html index, your pictures etc.] are all in different directorys.

What you should do is create a special folder, say on your desktop, and copy all the files for your book to that folder and then create the book.

i tried that and it didnt work. do you know about any other programs that can convert word files into pocket reader files?

There is a plugin for Word at Microsoft's site somewhere that lets you save as LIT.
