Greetings everyone,

Regarding the fact that the backlight turns on with any button press. Unfortunately, this is a problem with many Pocket PC devices. There is code deep in the OEM's button drivers that force a turn on of the screen when a button is pushed.

The plugin disappears upon reset because our installer erroneously put the pptoday.dll file in the Pocket Player install folder, instead of the \Windows folder.

To resolve the problem, launch the Pocket PC file explorer, and navigate to \Program Files\Conduits\Pocket Player, and then tap-and-hold and make sure "View All Files" is checked. Tap-and-hold on the pptoday.dll file, and tap Copy. Navigate to \Windows and tap Edit > Paste, and then soft reset again. It will show up again on the today screen.
