Ahem...Beware the Jello...? And flashing my rom? ::snicker:: Ok, so not even going there

Annnyway, so I download the update to my cf card, do a hard reset and then run the update from the cf card? I can't just do a hard reset and then install the update from the computer?

Sorry, never having done this, I just want to clarify so I don't make a mistake :)

I am not sure about your version
my A620 came with v.0.54 ROM
(with alarm and speaker problem)
then I flashes to V0.70.31 mounts ago.
now there isn't any problem

The Link I gave is possibly v.70.31WWE
(Mypals in Turkey came with WWE (World Wide English))

İf U decide to Flash Go on :)

first make a sync for backup,
also use asus backup for emergency
(never needed by me :) )

Flashing ROM isn't an update
U can think it as installing new Operation system,

So all data and programs will be deleted,
and U have to install them again,
contact list will come back , (from outlook when U sync)

copy new ROM into a CF card
then Press reset when holding Record button,
System will flash the rom itself,
in about 2-5 minitus

Good Luck.

Hmm,. I'm already on V0.73.31 WWE as I said in my first post, so if that's what the ROM you downloaded took you to...then I don't see that I need to upgrade, I'm already at the current version.

Can someone please verify what ROM version is being downloaded from the Turkey site? Does anyone know yet?

I just had to hard reset my Axim and set it up for my husband after I got the Asus, and I *really* don't feel like have to reinstall everything to the Asus just 10 days after the Axim, especially if I don't need to.
