I have encode MPEG1 files using TMPGEnc, and it is great. It works great! It does exactly what I wanted it to do. Especially in converting file formats and resizing file size, I just love it. And I'm using the latest version of TMPGEnc, v. 2.00

But...
Do you know that in Windows Media Player 7 (Windows ME), where you can use the 'seek' function to jump between seconds, minutes, and hours... you know that right?
I have no problem with the 'seek' function. I can use it. Infact, I have been using the seek function to jump instantly between parts of movies that I want to watch for years.

OK, Here is the problem.
If I encoded my huge Movie file (Video=1150 Kbits/s + Audio=224 Kbits/s) into a smaller size one (Video=200 or 150 Kbits/s + Audio=64 Kbits/s), I can use the seek function.

But if I encoded my huge Movie file into a (Video=120 or 110 Kbits/s + Audio=64 Kbits/s), I can watch the file, but the seek function will no longer work in Windows Media Player. The time still moves, but the video and audio does not. Meaning, I can't fast forward or rewind.

Is this a bug? Or is there a requirement of Kbits/s for the seek function to work properly?

Thanks in Advance.
