Hell if I didn't need WiFi, I would have already gotten one of the Asus 730s. But to me, the camera is such an unnecessary add on. That is one of the reasons why I'm going to in all liklihood opt for the Dell x50v.

All I know is that I HATE dell  . So, it goes without saying that I never ever plan to buy anything from them. This includes any PDA especially while Asus is making Pocket PCs.

Another question about the A730w: when can I expect it to have a price drop? I really badly want one but I cannot bring myself to spend any more than $500 even for an Asus.

The 730's won't have a price drop till feb. I believe. Asus has been setting the price and although I've seen a couple places post $10-$20 cheaper than us..... They don't and won't actually have the 730s..... Although you may find people advertising them, besides ourselves and a one place....... no one will have them till after the new year.

So, it's not like we've had a premium on pre-orders...

Blur, (trying to learn here) Whats the problem with Dell? IYO.

I'm a regular user (not hard core), and I own a pretty good 8400 series system with nice upgrades and now I ordered the X30 with the 624 Mhz. To me the Dell CS, product and style have given a great experience, especialy considering the prices.

:D :?:
