microsoft arcade pocketpak

microsoft arcade pocketpak

Postby merit » Dec 13, 2004 @ 2:20am

hi,
i have just bought a dell axim 30 and have started customizing it. i have been surfing various sites to buy software. I recently bought an atari sd card for games. i noticed an 2001/2002 pak from microsoft that is not available anymore. it had pacman, ms pacman and digdug. the graphics on this looked (from the screenshots) remarkable. does anyone know if this is still available anywhere? why is it gone apparently?, are there other "licensed"/or superbly done game paks like this available anymore?
thanks,
merit

I don't know much about the legality of stuff like this, but maybe it would be okay to get it from a less-than-legitimate source since it is no longer for sale? I don't know. It might be a problem legally, but morally, I see no problem if it's no longer for sale. By the way, you are new to the pocket pc world so I must tell you... If you think the graphics are "superb" in those games, you will be absolutely amazed when you get into the more advanced, contemporary games! That axim of yours is capable of playing donkey kong country, for example...

morphgear includes a super nintendo emulator, hence it can play almost any snes game including donkey kong country. I figured that would be pretty ovbious when you saw the website.

you should be aware however, an emulator by itself does nothing. It needs the ROM of whatever game you want to play, you must obtain the ROM by searching on google, theyre not legal to distribute.

Id recomend investigating mamece for your arcade games, however, I have no idea if your games in particular are compatible.
