I don't know if it'll run on a smart phone, but I suggest you try out BetaPlayer. It's a great player that's way better then any I've ever seen before (for Pocket PC's that is). And I'm guessing that you do not want to downsample your current DivX movies right? If that's the case I think you can better stop because only some of the latest VGA-ready Pocket PC's can *barely* play a PC-format DivX movie (meaning something with the resolution of like 720x352 with an extremely high bitrate or something similar). In the end you will have to re-encode the movies you want to play, but converting them is a lot simpler with tools like PocketDivXEncoder .

ah ok. i gotcha.. yea i forgot about the cpu intensive nature of divx.. old pc's have trouble playing them.. let alone my 206mhz strongarm.. i'll check out that program :) thanks!
