What I'm looking for in a pocket pc, besides the basic features (word processing, etc) is multimedia capabilities. I want something that can play music and movies at high quality with a reasonably long battery life. For the gaming aspect, I've learned from my toshiba e310 (after pushing the D-Pad to it's limits and destroying it), durable controls are important for gaming. I'd like to be able to play gameboy and NES games at full speed. Also, I could never play action-oriented games like Mario and other platform games because the toshiba did not support simulataneous button presses, for example, I could not be running and then jump at the same time. So, in a new pocket pc I wouldn't want to have this problem. Also, there was a significant delay from when I pushed a button to when the game reacted. I've been out of the pocket pc community for a while, so I don't know if full-speed SNES emulation and GBA emulation is a reality but it would definitely be a plus.
I've been doing a lot more traveling lately, including long train rides so I'm looking for a good multimedia/entertainment pocket pc. I'll go do research on my own, but it would be great if you guys (pocket pc experts) could give me some reccomendations and your opinions on the best pocket pcs out now. I don't know if what I've asked for exists but I'm looking for whatever comes closests. Thank you.
