Can you download the maps for this version ? I have version 2002 and my old maps don't work. I searched Microsoft's website and found nothing.

The old maps don't work. You need to buy MapPoint or some map making software for your desktop computer, or have a friend (grrr, chris!) who has it make you a map of wherever you want.
