It's not that big of a deal, honestly. I've dealt with MS (customer support and directly) about silly things like this so many times, that it isn't the huge hassle that everyone is making it out to be (on the other thread). What's sad is that I've called MS customer support before and said things like, 'I'm trying to install win98SE upgrade, but i can't find my win95 cd' and they have simply responded with, 'okay, thats cool, type this in xxxxxxxx and it will unlock the upgrade seek and think its a full version.' no questions asked. i imagine it would be this easy to explain why you're installing winxp for the 49th time; or even you're ppc2002, after your third hard reset. as for linux, i personally find it too cumbersome for me to use than even windoze sometimes; i hate searching around for this or that driver/patch/version just to make it work in linux cuz it doesn't initially. Not to say that windoze isnt like that, it's just less often. And I'm a gamer, sorry
