iPAQ Button problem

iPAQ Button problem

Postby Solarix » Sep 27, 2001 @ 1:49pm

By now every knows of the iPaq's problem with buttons being used for simultanious input; that's why I choose the Casio E-125 over it. I wanted to know if the @migo 600, or the new HP 56x will/have the same problems?

I heard someone say the new HP's have no button problems at all. The @migo is limited by 3 button presses at a time. Diagonal is considered 2 button presses (i.e. Up-Right diagonally is pressing down Up and Down buttons). Therefore, if moving diagonal, u can only press one other button...like say a jump or shoot. if you press one direction, like say right...u could essentially run and jump or run and shoot etc etc. So its about halfway between the iPaq and the Casio. If you don't need more than 3 buttons at once, its great. But the HP's seem to be pretty awesome too except for the CFI only slot.
Mayhap so. I'm not sure if it's jury-rigged or if it's commercial. Anyone?

pfft, thats not the point. the point is i say it every time you bring up the fact that jornadas are cf1 only and you all ignore it and say 'isnt there some kind of adapter available?' like idiots.

cf2 is a bit thicker than cf media... so essentially it can hold more (ie.. a microdrive is CF2, while most normal flash media is CF1)

so.. you need CF2 for the microdrive and most other CF devices such as wireless cf cards, etc..
