Saw the new Casio at CompUSA yesterday...

Saw the new Casio at CompUSA yesterday...

Wow! The new casio rules! I got to play with it a bit at CompUSA yesterday, and I love it. It has built in SD and CF slots and still is smaller than the ipaq with a CF sleeve on! Also its supports multiple button presses and has user replacable backup/main batteries! Only complaint I have is the screen is like two centimeters smaller than the ipaq but for some reason I didn't even notice it until they were side by side. If this Casio gets upgraded in speed when the new "faster" PPC's come out this is the one Ill buy for sure. Only draw back is my ipaq has a snap on keyboard and a snap on joystick and I dont think they make those for casio.

It is one cool little machine, I'm still trying to save up for it.

It does have a USB host on it though, meaning you can hook up any USB keyboard, mouse, etc, as long as there is a driver for it, and you know that drivers are being made as we type.... :D

I'll just wait until the E210's come out. I'm sure all the existing things will work with it (meaning, all the E200 series accessories) but it's going to have a 400MHz processor, maybe a graphics accelerator of some kind, more memory, and still have SD, USB, and CF. It will be the same $600 too ... and I'll have more than $600 if I start saving for it now. My plan is better :)

My guess would be fall of this year, with an E205 (more RAM, OS upgrades, slightly faster OS) in the late first / early second quarter.
