I would buy both if i could, but i haven't got the cash :(. they are cheap, because a shop is clearing its old stock, and i know that it isn't a scam. since i can only buy one, i would really like to buy the right one.

also, does anyone know how much of a hinderance the 'only 1 button at a time' fiasco on the ipaq is when playing games.
thanks

Go with the IPAQ. You'll thank me later.

Go with the iPaq. I have a Casio E-125 and love it, but the iPaq will do you better in the long run. Every PPC program will run on it since it uses the same processor as the new ones, it comes with more memory, and you can buy a PC Card sleeve to use modems and vga cards and lan cards and GPS devices and much more. Plus it's faster and new. When you start using the iPaq you won't even notice that you can only push one button at a time, trust me. Get the iPaq.

You say that you won't notice that you won't notice that can only press one button. Is this true even when playing games such as quake?

Quake is set up control wise to make no diffrence if you have a button problem or not. Quake will run like shit on a casio compared to an ipaq at 236mhz(thats when overclocked) and you can upgrade the ipaq to ppc2002 for 40 bucks when you can afford it.

Ya, get the iPaq 3670 and upgrade to the PPC2002 OS and you'll effectively own an iPaq 38xx device, minus a few cooderments.

Plus the E125 is bulky & ugly. Overclocking is harder to get done, and while it's capable of recognising multiple buttons, the vast majority of games have been designed around the limitation on ipaqs. Practically all games have been intended for ARM processors and many have no MIPS version. CF expansion may be slightly irritating but having double on-board memory means that you could store a lot of apps anyway.

Get the ipaq. (And i've got a brand new CF sleeve that you can have for £10 since you're in the UK!)

Choose the one with the features YOU want. IPAQ may be good at running the latest games because of the newer processor but is lacking on integrated expansion. I assume that you are not buying the IPAQ for gaming reasons. If you are low on cash you wouldnt be paying alot just for that reason.

Ihe Casio E-125 has expansion built in and a better screen when viewing indoors. I know because we have an E-125 AND an IPAQ. It works great for storing information, and most applications (not games) are for MIPS too. It runs sweet.

Don't let other hard-headed users who are PRO one thing (IPAQ) and against all others sway your decision. Most of them arent very bright and do not look at both sides.

You are a human, you have intellect, make your OWN decision. THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES. Now, I am going to start a flamewar by saying that you have choices, but bring it on.
