PocketDivX 0.8d supports DivX 5.0 except for some of the new features that I won't use while encoding.
I'll try encoding a few sample clips and see how they compare to DivX 4 encodings for Pocket PC.
PocketDivX 0.8d is a "beta" release, but is much more stable that the 0.8 release. I've talked to the developer, and he's OK with me if I push the 0.8d player on the site and require it for my clips. It has many improvements over 0.8 -- especially for MIPS users.
Also, I'm going to begin to encode my clips without pre-rotating them first.
