I'm a bit confused here, and still new to the PPC crowd, so correct me if I'm wrong . . .
You're all bashing the iPaq and its lack of internal expansion . . . specificaly, its lack of a CF flash card.
I'm looking at my iPaq 3835/3850 right here and I've got a SD internal expansion slot. You anti-Compaq people are making general comments against the entire line, where its obviously not entirely true.
Now . . . is CF that much better than SD? What does it have that SD lacks?
Either way, I do enjoy my iPaq . . . its slim, comfortable with the hand . . . sure I don't like how the D pad clicks when its going left and right (why the heck did they do this I don't know) but other than that, I love its features.
Also . . . people noting their expansion capabilities are quite justified. I haven't looked into it that much, but I'll be darned if any other PPC out there has such a well-refined expansion setup, with sleeves to cover and protect PCMCIA devices.
Let me know what y'all think.
