Alright. I have to ask another question today. Sorry.

Sorry for all the questions from me today, but I just got my A620BT and have NO prior PPC experiance. I've learned a few things. Anyways. Are you supposed to be able to emulate SNES games full-speed with sound? Because I heard it was possible. But in a fast moving games, say Sonic Blastman or TMNT, I get around 15-30 FPS/60. This makes the music go very slow and it's giving me a huge headache. I'm using Morphgear. An unregistered version. I'm going to ask this question and go to bed hoping that when I wake up, someone will have answered. I'm going to provide so many specs and details, it'll be impossible not to help me. Okay, I have an ASUS A620BT. I have WIN 2003. It's in Turbo Mode. I use Morphgear. I have no other programs in use besides Morphgear. Here are my global settings for Morphgear:

Display:
I am not displaying the Frame rate statistics.
I am in Full Screen Mode.
It isn't rotated left at 100%

Sound:
Sound is enabled.
Sound volume is at 80%

Input:
I'm not using a virtual pad

Tweak:
Custom File Dialog box is unchecked.
I have enabled Auto Pause.
The Save game path is in My Documents\

Appearance:
Background color is black
Background image is default

Here are my settings for SNES mode:

Display:
Screen Size is 100%
Image Smoothing is not enabled

Sound:
Sound is enabled.
The Emulate Box is checked.
Sync, Interpolate, Echo, and 16-bit samples are all unchecked in their boxes.
Stereo is enabled.
The quality is at 11khz.

Speed:
Frame Skip of 2
Auto Sync is not enabled.

Input:
Do you really need to know that?

Skin
The skin is the default one.

Now, if you get amazing FPS's in Morphgear, in games like Double Dragon, TMNT, Blastman, or any sidescroller beat 'em up, then please tell me what your settings for morphgear are and be as specific as possible. Thanks if you help. If you don't help when you could have, well, I'm way to tired to yell at you right now, but you know what I'm thinking...

You could use some overclocking soft, like XCPUScalar, or check Autosync and setting Frameskip to higher value. Works for me.

But checking frameskip higher makes it a lot more sketchy and less playable.

Oh, and does overclocking do any damage to a PPC?

Btw, you can turn off the skin which might make it a bit faster.

My asus runs most games at full speed with sound. Not so with really graphical ones though. I usually use frameskip 3, except for some games which aren't as processor heavy, i use frameskip 2, which makes things look much smoother.
