Symbol and Linksys made wireless CF cards that claim 100 mW or less of power consumption in Tx and Rx and much less in power save mode. This is in comparison with the typical 250 - 350 mW or more in Tx and Rx and 100+ mW in power save modes of other cards. Theoretically, we are talking about 1/3 to 1/4 the power consumption of the typical card. Maybe someone here has tried such a real LOW power card and can give us some results.
