Beware for the Dell Axim X30 screen, when you look at it from the side, the colors will go awkward
And when you buy one I hope you dont get one with e broken On/Off button, cause that has been happening alot.

Don't forget to mention screen sensitivity issues. Although, people who have been getting them recently say that they have been without thse problems. It must have been an bad batch of units. OsMo, did you get an X30? I thought you were mainly considering an h4155.

Nope I dont have one, and I dont want one, too many glitches/bugs/annoyances with the X30

I want to buy the IPAQ 4155, but here in Belgium (europe) they are a shitload expensive.. I saw the 4150 today for 500 euro :s that way too much and it is even the old model :s

So I am looking for online stores were I can order one, but I dont have a credit card :(

Anyone that can give me advice?

Thanks

E-bay, of course... That's where I have purchased every single PDA I have owned except for my first one, and the Dell (because it is too new).

I dont trust ebay much.. dont you take a huge gamble with buying second-hand devices (like you mentioned, there could be a dead pixel that the seller never talked about)

Any other ideas besides ebay?

Well, I have bought three different PDAs off of ebay in the past and never had a single problem. But yes, you do take more of a risk I suppose. However, the great thing about e-bay is that since you are buying second hand, if you were to sell it again, you would not take a loss. This means that if there is something you don't like about it, you can just turn around and sell it again, and most likely won't take a loss. Sometimes you will even make money. The fact that you don't have a credit card really does hinder your ability to buy one from over here where they are cheaper.

Maybe I could appoint you as my salesman on ebay ;) you seem to have alot of experience with that :d

What about import tax when buying overseas? How much is that rated?

You bring up a good point; I can't say I have any experience buying or selling overseas. Are you sure there is an import tax with a simple individual to individual private sale? I have never seen anything written in an ebay listing, even if they accept international bidders, about an import tax. As far as I know, you just have to pay for international shipping. Do not take this as an absolute truth, be sure to wait for someone with more experience with international e-bay transactions to answer your question.
