What kind of game play does it have?

The trailer(demo) makes it look like a point and click adventure or worse. I love the look of this thing but if it has the game play of a DVD I can't buy it.

Hi,
Atlantis Redux is an adventure game.
If you know "Dreamcatcher" or "The Adventure Company" games like "Egypt" or "Atlantis" it is the same kind of game, a Myst-like.
Check www.tacgames.com to learn more about The Adventure Company games and what they look like.
Or watch this trailer showing the game running:

It was looking at the video that was the try option on clickgamer that confused me. As there was no signs of a game. Thanks for the links I'll go look. :)

I had seen the other vid before. At least it had someone playing or rather swapping things over. Anyway the sheer scale of work is obvious.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

The game's quality is really good, amazing graphics! The quicktime vr-like camera turning is not that bad once you start playing ;).

Also, for anybody who bought the game too, create a SAVE folder in the ATLANTIS folder if it's not already there. It might be fixed by now but when I got it they seem to just forgot about that part ;).

Some ingame screenshots for your eyes only :):

Main Menu:

Ingame shot #1 (where you can rotate the camera):

Ingame shot #2 (fixed camera, closeup of object):

Movie shot #1 (when moving from one to another area):

Ingame shot #3 (person talking to me):

Ingame shot #4 (puzzle!):

The puzzle (as seen in the last image) has some sort of bug in it the 2nd time I tried to play it (the first time my savegames didn't work yet :P), but it worked the first time :P.

The game runs wonderfull on my A620BT running of a 256mb CF card, although the sound in the movies sometimes just thinks he has to play faster then the movie itself ;).

Hi,
The bug Miracle reported (last picture in his post) has been corrected in the last version available from clickgamer.
Those who had already bought it will receive shortly by email a new .exe file to fix it.
Those who had the "save" problem will receive an email very soon explaining how to fix it. Miracle just explained it.

I bought the game, and if you like immersive adventure games, then it really deserves your attention.

Some things I'd like to see (perhaps in future updates) :
- a possibility to skip dialogues and cutscenes I've already watched once
- an in-game option menu to adjust sound volume and screen brightness

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.
