I think PocketPC has now the advantage but Palm has introduced a new concept of a clean Operating System. With Be technology, they can do things that we can no imagine.

Not that I lose sleep over what Palm does, but I thought that Be never accomplished anything? Regardless, I don't know what adding in some 3rd party software is going to do for them.
Palm's OS is only half their problem. Look at the hardware it has to run on.

Dan East

Their software is lame because the hardware is weak. When did a PIM nead a fast CPU with lots of resources?

I didn't say that. I said their OS is half their problem, regardless of the hardware.

Dan East

A PIM device shouldn't cost more than 300 dollars, which all the Palms do. Those 'Secret Girl Power' organisers have just as many (if not more) functions and cost $70 (not that I've been looking into them ;D). It's rediculous. And for the small amount of things that they actually do do, they should be MUCH smaller.

Did you guys ever had Casio's "Digital Agendas"? I think that was my first PDA. Wow!!! 32KB of memory, you know how many addreses fitted there?
Well, Palms are these things beafed up with the ability to interface with a PC. For a total newbie that never heard of portable technology of any kind a Palm might be a good option.

What's that little purse there for? I'm sure that the PDA won't fit into it. Does it hold the stylus because they forgot to place a slot?

Very good, Diego. It goes well with your eyes. Don't forget to match the shoes.
