I'd rather keep the file size at 8.5KB as that's more important than some flashy pompous graphics for a program that calculates simple mathematical formulae

Yeah, true. Like I said in my last post (don't know why you bothered posting after me) I understand.

I looked for them at pocketpc.com, but only found files for the pc, not ppc. Am I missing something...?

If you're interested in know, I think this link describes what happened:
http://www.devbuzz.com/content/vbregfix_pg1.asp

If you want to skip to the point, this final page, near the end, tells of how to relieve the problem:
http://www.devbuzz.com/content/vbregfix_pg3.asp
Basically you just install file. But since my program does not have an eVB installation if you uninstall THAT file then all the stuff won't work again. What it does is recreates the file associations within the registry. The VBRuntime files weren't deleted, only the path in the registry that tells WindowsCE where they are. And because someone designed a very poor VisualBasic program all of that information was deleted upon uninstall. If you have access to the registry, or better yet, access to a registered version of Dexplor, then you can set it up manually. If you have Dexplor, I can tell you the exact parameters to use in the Association's Editor right now.
