Ya, I've got about 7 books on C++. I've read ... half of one of them :/. And there is absolutely no correlation between VB and C++, and even less with QB and C++. People that claim you should learn VB first are ignorant, which is why I hate it that VB is a 200 level course and and C++ is a 250 level course.

And QB is even worse... it's bad to learn spaghetti code. Very, very bad.

Moose, why so many books? What exactly are you trying to learn? One good C book (ex. Practical C Programming) and one good C++ book is basically all it takes.

You did learn C first, didn't you?
