The 5450 is NOT huge. It is the same size as the other ipaqs. My friend has one and it is just about the same size as my 3950, except for the wifi antenna popping out which isnt a big deal.
Proof that the 5450 is the same size as the older ipaqs is the fact that it can use the same expansion slots. Certain dimensions have to be met inorder for anything to fit into the expansion packs. This is probably one of the reasons the 1910 cant use those slots.

This is true, it has to be the same size... but it looks so deformed and wide with that speaker stretched out at the top.

I have briefly owned a h5454. Its not as big as james is saying it is but its big compaired to something like a h1900 ( well every thing is really ). The h5454 is the most powerfull pocket pc in wireless abitlys. It has the best screen ( tied with the h1910 and 39xx) , its a bit bigger then the 39xx and .25 inchs bigger then the h1910's screen. Some people like the smaller screen because it looks more compressed. At the time when I bought mine i had problems with the wifi and bt but It might have just been mine , also there are alot of new updates for it so that should fix all the problems.
Unless your thinking about using the bt also I would think about going with a e750 (that is if you dont mind button lag). If you have the money get it. Its basicly a like big brother verison of the h1910.
