Ok, I'll be accepting submissions in the FOOD or COMPUTER category for the meantime. :) You can name your unit and draw it whatever you like but it has to look decent enough to be integrated in a real tower.
Brief Guidelines:
1. A "cell" is the smallest block in a building unit. A building unit can consist of more than one cell. Each cell is 15x20 (WxH) pixels. So for example, I want my restaurant unit to be a 4x1 building unit, its graphical size would be 4x15 = 60(W) and 1x20 = 20(H), 60x20 pixels. A unit can have as much as a height of 2 cells and a width of no greater than 6 cells. In other words, your limits would be 6x2 OR 90x40 pixels.
2. A building unit is composed of 5 frames used for animating the unit within the game. The first frame is an empty building unit, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th frame are animations when unit is populated by Virts (that's what we call the Tower People by the way), and the last frame shows the unit as closed.

And here's how it looks like in the game:
Oops! I just leaked a screenshot there. :) How about a deadline of 2 weeks? August 21, 2003 deadline? We're in the final stages of development and hoping to get a beta out in 2 weeks time. :)
