I guess you didn't read the review:
"One cool feature that asus included with the device, is the option to change what mode the unit is running in. The options include: Turbo Mode, Standard Mode, Power Saving Mode, and Automatic Mode. The turbo mode will overclock the device, and it manages to squeeze out a couple more FPS in games/video. I found that there was a very noticable difference between turbo mode, and standard mode while playing SNES. Power saving mode does just the opposite of turbo of course, underclocking the device to get better battery life at the cost of performance. "
He says right there that the turbo mode overclock's the device.
Ok well if your telling me it isn't overclocking then what is it doing?
Normal mode is 400mhz , so turbo is yet still the same speed and getting much faster speed?
The a620 in turbo vs the 2215 overclocked is still faster, yes, but it's a MUCH smaller difference in speed. It's just plain stupid to compaire an overclocked a620 to a 2215 at normal speed.
And the a620 is not the fastest ppc , the mio 558 is. It smokes the a620 when they are both at the normal 400mhz. It also smokes the a620 in turbo when its overclocked.
