You would if you're talking GBA or GBA SP

The only way you could accomodate the screen in a gameboy shell would be to use a GBC or the old B&W units [not the Pocket, the classic!]

If you scrapped a GBC and ripped the guts of a 1910, you'd have a kick ass gameboy emulator machine...

I didn't say it was logical to do it, just that we could if we really wanted to :D

If you could find a classic gameboy - the huge white one, you could rip the guts out of it, cut a bigger hole for the screen, rip the guts of an old PPC [or a 1910 - since you're only going to be playing gameboy on it anyways :D ] and put it in the gameboy shell. Doesn't seem too complicated. Now, rewiring the old GameBoy pad and buttons to the PPC's.... I don't know, would it be possible?

Definite style points for whoever pulls it off.

BY THE WAY-

I just remembered, I have a gameboy advance (not sp) with a broken screen that has been sitting around collecting dust. I am hesitant to donate it to science, as im sure i could get at least some money for it off of ebay, but if youre interested at all just post how much you would be willing to pay.

(whoever is in charge here- if i just broke a rule i appologize, feel free to delete this post if that is the case)

It's probably more feasible to rip the buttons out of the Pocket PC and put the GBA buttons in the Pocket PC's case and wire them up. The case won't sit in your hand quite as good as the GBA but that's the path of least resistance.

Bjorn, using a GBC case would be pointless, since a PPC looks almost the same (layout-wise).
A GBA case has a D-Pad on the left, and the buttons on the right, making it perfect for gaming (don't forget the L and R buttons!).
